Em hotep friends, <deep bow>
Ra has risen! That new year has begin! Sekhmet has crushed all that holds us back giving us a new year...a new start. Zep Tepi!
The first ceremonies of the Wep Ronpet have been held with the rising of the sun, the open statues kissed by Ra, the red bowls destroyed.
Later today we will open the statue of Heru-Wer and reaffirm our committments before Netjer.
I am too exhausted and in awe to say anything much at this point. I ask you to know that we have brought you before Netjer in our prayers and ask you to especially pray for us during the rest of our rites today.
NEHKTET!

Em hotep, everyone! <bow>
I want to write a wonderful New Year message with words so true they will find their way directly into your heart. But at this moment, having just left Sekhmet's presence . . . I don't have many words.
Just know that anything that has held us back has now been destroyed. (Actually, it's in little tiny pieces at Heru's feet.) We rose up feeling lighter and new. We carry you in our hearts, having placed you at Netjer's feet for blessing.
Nekhtet!
