A friend of mine just gave me a new computer- it's a Mac OS X and it works with the chat program just fine. I was playing around with it last night, since this is my first Mac.^_^ I found that, using the Safari browser from Apple, I'm able to hear sound effects on the chat which didn't work with the browser I was using on my PC. Very cool!!!^_^

It's an interesting question, and yes I've noticed it too. I suspect that we're seeing more people now because finally there are more groups around to take up the training of the newbies. More teachers training more students = better representation in the community = more interest. Also, Netjer seems to be drawing many of us together who didn't ever realize that there *was* a Kemetic community to begin with. Perhaps this is so that we can build up the temples and communities we'll need to accomodate all the increased interest? Only Netjer knows for certain.^_~

Oh, I really hope I can do the chats! I've been checking into the site on the sly while at work, but on Sundays I'll be stuck on a very ancient computer with exceptionally slow internet access at my boyfriend's mom's house. I hope her computer is up to the task!

Ok, It's the first week of June, and I haven't gotten an email or PM or anything about the new member class. Is it going on now? Did I miss the call for enrollment?

That's good to know. Now I just need to figure out how to work that feature because I have never done chat before. I will have to learn to work with that before I can take the course. When I click the purple chat word, then a page appears with a huge white box. I haven't been able to type in it. I mean what am I supposed to do with it? Please explain. Thanks.
